EMTEC 16GB USB with bent connector data recovery caselog
08NOV23 This USB was plugged into the side of a laptop when the customer accidently opened a door onto to it. The USB connector was cracked causing the emtec device to no longer work. This case was solved by finding hard to see damage done underneath the usb data lines.
The main controller chip is a Phison PS2251-68-5. The single nand chip is 24nm 2D MLC (DT57G2GAHC) 16GB
Data recovery was successful by applying delicate micro soldering repair work.
